About the role Join our Clinical Trials Unit, supporting trials within Liverpool Hospital and across the South-Western Sydney LHD. As Clinical Line Manager, you’ll lead daily operations, manage a dynamic team, and ensure trials run smoothly and compliantly. You’ll drive quality, oversee staffing, support training and development, and foster strong stakeholder relationships. This is a key leadership role focused on continuous improvement, strategic collaboration, and operational excellence in clinical research. The contract offered for this role is Full Time (1FTE) for 12-months. About You Essential criteria Degree in health science or nursing. Demonstrated clinical trial management skills. Detailed knowledge of clinical research practices, ethical obligations, ICH-GCP. Previous experience co-ordinating trials. Highly developed project planning, coordination, organisation and time management skills. Proven ability to identify problems, make recommendations and implement appropriate solutions in the research environment. Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills. High level interpersonal skills and proven ability to work strategically with key internal and external stakeholders in a research environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, consultation and interpersonal skills. High level computing skills, including databases, clinical trial electronic data capture, word processing and spreadsheets. Demonstrated ability to maintain high work standards with minimum supervision and an ability to ensure other team members work in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures relevant to clinical trial conduct. Excellent skills in clinical trial record keeping and attention to detail. Desirable criteria Previous Line Management experience. Ability and willingness to travel between sites, if required. Ability to travel in order to attend conferences, training or Investigator meetings. Current driver’s license.
