The Opportunity: Take on a rewarding role as a Supervisor (Estimating / Delivery) with QBuild, supporting essential building and maintenance projects in Townsville. This position is central to delivering accurate and reliable estimates, ensuring project success across various initiatives. Location: Townsville, QLD; Type: Full-time; Hourly Rate: $59.85 / hour plus super; and Contract length: Initial three month with potential for extension. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and managing detailed building estimates with precision and accuracy; Interpreting building plans and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements; Collaborating with estimators, tradespersons, and stakeholders to meet project goals; Utilising information management systems to streamline maintenance and project management; and Monitoring progress, addressing issues, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders. Required Experience: We are looking for an experienced professional with a solid background in estimating and project supervision in the construction or maintenance industry. The ideal candidate will have: Expertise in contemporary estimating methods and regulatory compliance; Proven ability to prepare detailed and accurate building estimates; Proficiency with information management systems for project management; Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders effectively; and A strong capacity for decision-making and problem-solving in complex situations.
