The North Australian Pastoral Company (NAPCo) was founded in 1877 and is one of Australia's leading beef cattle companies, managing over 6.1 million hectares, largest single herd in the world and home to Five Founders Beef. NAPCo employs approximately 220 staff operating across Queensland and the Northern Territory, with 15 cattle stations, a Depot in Mount Isa, a Feedlot and Farm in the Darling Downs and an office in Brisbane's CBD. We are looking for Bore Runners to join our crews in QLD or the NT. Day to day duties include but are not limited to: Monitoring and maintaining water supplies and associated infrastructure for livestock Re-fuelling / starting pumps Checking on stock General station maintenance including: maintaining fences etc, Working alone and unsupervised Performing your job safely and operating equipment in a safe manner Duties may differ slightly depending on individual station needs Ideally the successful candidate will: Have experience working as a Bore Runner Hold a current manual drivers licence Be a self-starter that is able to work autonomously and unsupervised Prior mechanical experience would be high regarded Have machinery operators and /or truck driving experience, is advantageous Employee benefits Permanent full-time position, commence on station Feb/March 2026 A competitive day rate | Generous annual leave entitlements | Season completion bonus We invest heavily in on-the-job training and all staff are offered and encouraged to complete a traineeship in Agriculture.
