The Family: We’re a small but busy family with one school-aged child and a household full of interesting pets — chickens, guinea pigs, fish, and axolotls! Both parents run a significant private business and travel regularly, so having the right support at home is incredibly important to keep everything running smoothly. We value calm, humour, and harmony in the home, and we aim to be present and connected as a family, especially over dinner each evening. Days & Hours: We’re seeking a reliable, long-term nanny to support us during term time and school holidays. Term time: Monday to Thursday, 12:00pm – 6:00pm (24 hours/week minimum) School holidays & travel periods: Full-time hours as needed Additional hours are available during overnight stays and when travelling with the family (domestic and international). These additional hours can significantly add to your annual income. A typical day will include: Starting at 12pm with household duties: laundry, running errands, grocery shopping, meal prep, occasional pet care 3:10pm: school pick-up 3:30pm–5:30pm: after-school activities, outings, homework support, or at-home play and routines 6pm: parents return home and transition into family time Location: Peppermint Grove, WA The family’s dream nanny: Our daughter would love a "big sister" type — someone fun, outgoing and confident who enjoys engaging in activities and outings. From the parents’ perspective, we’re looking for someone mature, capable, and dependable, who can handle both the daily routine and occasional travel with professionalism and ease. You’ll understand how to balance the needs of both the child and the broader household. A good sense of humour, emotional maturity, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential.
