Overview Team Leader – Water Infrastructure (Networks) - Parramatta at GHD. The Water Networks team in Sydney provides comprehensive water and wastewater network infrastructure solutions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to major water network projects within NSW, with potential involvement nationally and internationally, while mentoring and developing a high-performing team of engineers. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day functioning of the Water Networks team, supporting the delivery of impactful projects that make a difference in our community. Build team capability around technical delivery, project and client outcomes, and deliver high-quality projects through coaching and mentoring. Lead the development and submission of proposals, manage resource allocation, and act as project manager for small to medium-sized projects. Promote an inclusive, supportive and collaborative working environment within the team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 7 years of experience in water engineering in a consulting or professional services environment. Experience in leadership and management of Water or Wastewater Network infrastructure projects. Previous experience or a strong appetite to manage a team.
