We're currently looking for a Part-Time Dermatology Nurse , working a minimum of 2 days per week, with the potential to pick up additional shifts. About the Role As a Dermatology Nurse at SASH, you'll support both out-patient consultations and in-patient procedures. Out-patient consultations include summarising medical records, restraint for examination, assisting with cytological testing, dispending medication and client communication/follow ups. In-patient procedures will include allergy testing and the maintenance of allergy testing kits, sedation and general anaesthesia, CT scans, ear flushes, and skin biopsies. Who we are Looking For: Someone with a keen interest in Dermatology and the desire to work closely with patients throughout their entire SASH journey Strong anaesthesia skills, including induction, intubation, monitoring and recovery to support with in-patient procedures The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Confidence in a fast-paced clinical environment A collaborative approach and willingness to support other departments when needed To be considered for this position, applicants must have: Completed a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience working as a qualified vet nurse Why SASH?
