In this senior role, you’ll bring your expertise to enhance the businesses efficiency and drive operational performance across the group. The Role In this role as the Quality Manager, you will: Be responsible and accountable for maintaining the quality system for the organisation. In addition, you’ll ensure accuracy of appropriate registers and ensure that all relevant quality documentation is completed in line with contractual obligations Have a complete working knowledge and understanding of the Company’s IMS and contract requirements Be responsible for any audit requirements of the quality system as directed by management Need to conduct appropriate meetings for team alignment to ensure all contract obligations and standards of care are being conformed with. Conduct verification of checklists prior to the placement of concrete, steel, and other items of work Remain abreast and informed of all developments in legislative requirements, industry standards and best practices of the construction of projects and ensure that these are always followed with a high priority to workplace health and safety Work to develop and maintain appropriate policies and procedures within the Quality System Ensure the organisation is compliant with all statutory OH&S requirements. Ensure that plant, equipment, staff and subcontractors operate within safe working conditions Ensure that all departmental operations meet the environmental, safety and legislative requirements About You You will hold tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or equivalent along with: A background in Engineering, Construction and Delivery processes and experience in project delivery Ability to read, interpret and quantify project plans, standards and specifications as required and effectively Ability to communicate project plans and specifications across a range of stakeholders including site supervisors Efficiency in planning and executing tasks as required to tight deadlines in line with current and best industry practices Prior experience managing project engineers, site engineers, and graduates Proven site experience serving as a Contractor Quality Representative on projects with TMR requirements R4/B3 or higher If you’re looking for an opportunity to join a renowned civil contract who prioritises career growth and development opportunities while being a member of a supportive team where diversity and inclusion are valued, this is the role for you.
