We’re seeking a Production Planning Team Leader to lead and coordinate our planning team in driving efficient scheduling, resource optimization, and timely product delivery to Emerson customers. This role plays a critical part in aligning planning activities with business goals, customer expectations, and operational capabilities. In this role, you will: Lead and supervise the planning team in day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with business goals. Develop and maintain production, project, bundle, and material plans to meet delivery targets. Monitor and report on team performance, critical metrics, and planning accuracy. Ensure realistic and achievable schedules based on capacity, resource availability, and sales forecasts. Identify and lead process improvements to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy. Act as the point person for addressing customer and partner concerns related to planning issues and ensure timely resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts, production plans, and inventory strategies. Manage customer DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) performance. Oversee valve strip, access, and quote processes for customer orders. Train and mentor team members to foster continuous development and high performance. Conduct daily reviews of new orders and delivery dates with the team. Communicate proactively with Sales and customers regarding delivery date changes and product availability. Monitor and expedite planned backlog lists for upcoming weeks. Review and action MRP requirements in coordination with the Site Buyer and Inventory Controller. Support quotation and planning of customer orders. Who you are: You’re a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments. Operational experience, ideally within engineering, construction, or a similar industry. Proven experience in production planning. Strong knowledge of Emerson products and services. Proficiency in planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel). Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
