Connecting the Docs are seeking Expressions of Interest from overseas trained Hospital Medical Officers/Resident Medical Officers (HMO/RMO's) who are looking to further enhance their training in regional Australia. We provide the most comprehensive range of healthcare services in Victoria through our seven hospital partnerships. We're seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and motivated HMO/RMOs who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding outcomes. Our commitment lies in training top-tier doctors and offering the highest quality education and support for our team. Applications are invited from suitably qualified HMO/RMO's who will be post graduate year 2 and/or 3 in 2026. A range of rotations are available including: Paediatrics/Obstetrics Anaesthetics/HDU General Practice Medicine Surgery Emergency As part of your application, you will be asked to list what key rotations you are interested in. Victorian Clinical Term Dates: Rotation 1 - 2nd February 2026 - 3rd May 2026 Rotation 2 - 4th May 2026 - 2nd August 2026 Rotation 3 - 3rd August 2026- 1st November 2026 Rotation 4 - 2nd November 2026 - 31st January 2026 You have the option to work across multiple sites undertaking your selected rotations in 2026 that will further your Rural Generalist journey. Opportunities may also be available for a two-year contract to undertake an Advanced Skills year within your area of interest for 2026. Connecting the Docs supports your AMC and AHPRA Medical Registration. Visa Sponsorship will be provided to the successful applicant/s. Depending on your registration pathway and where you are trained, this end-to-end process can take approximately 3-6 months for your registration and visa to be fully approved.
