ALLIED HEALTH ASSISTANT Join our Team: Kanda is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to support our community nursing team in delivering high quality patient care across across a range of Health Sectors. In Adelaide, we deliver transitional care programs that help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals. You'll work under the guidance of our Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to support clients in reaching these goals. About The Role: As an Allied Health Assistant, you will: Work closely with the TCP/STRC team to help clients meet therapy goals. Review and adapt programs as needed to address client needs. Provide regular reports and updates to the multidisciplinary team. Receive supervision and professional support from our Allied Health Professional team. Key Requirements: A Certificate III or higher in allied Health Assistance Minimum 12 months post qualification experience Genuine commitment to helping older individuals maintain independence excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Willing to obtain relevant screening clearances Reliable vehicle and current Drivers Licence Current First Aid (including up to date CPR) Day to Day Duties Implement treatment and exercise plans alongside Allied Health and TCP/STRC teams. Engage and encourage clients to follow their treatment plans. Ensure care plans align with best-practice guidelines and client goals. Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including monitoring vitals, supporting exercises, and aiding rehabilitation activities. Maintain accurate daily documentation for physiotherapy and TCP client visits. Provide feedback on service delivery, staff training needs, and improvement opportunities. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and managing communications.
