Why join Lead finance for a flagship Sydney CBD establishment with an outstanding reputation Direct exposure to the CEO and senior leadership team Drive data modelling, dashboards, and financial strategy in a fast-paced environment The role As Financial Controller, you will: Take ownership of end-to-end financial management including accounts, budgets, cash flow, payroll, and compliance Prepare and present monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis to the CEO and senior team Build and maintain dashboards, financial models, and data insights to drive decision-making Oversee payroll through Employment Hero, ensuring compliance with ATO and superannuation requirements Manage cash flow, annual budgets, and the external audit process Act as system administrator for Xero, Lightyear, Employment Hero, and other key platforms Lead contracts and supplier management including utilities, IT, and technical equipment Contribute commercially to pricing, cost analysis, and operational improvement initiatives Manage and mentor a small finance team, building capability and ensuring high standards About you CPA/CA qualified with 6 years' finance experience, ideally in hospitality, media or entertainment.
