Role Your role as a General Manager - Marsden Park Responsibilities Operational management of a high volume fast-paced site. Financial and performance delivery. Collaboration with Project Team on site expansions. Resource the site and resources. Plan and use physical resources (financial, premises, capital equipment, supplies and materials) effectively and efficiently. Ensure financial targets are met, including setting and agreeing budgets and regular monitoring of performance against budget. Manage the operation to meet customer requirements and continuously improve performance. Ensure properly functioning warehouse teams, efficient planning of personnel and equipment. Monitor and report on KPIs, and ensure that all employees strive to achieve high service levels as a priority. Ensure the correct implementation of administrative duties on the site and drawing up invoices for clients. Solve problems arising on site. Maintain contacts with clients, other businesses in the area, government authorities, temporary employment agencies, etc. Gather knowledge on logistical systems that may advance the operation. Provide clear, consistent and appropriate communication on the warehouse progress and issues to be resolved. Develop and implement policies for using energy and recycling effectively. Take on such additional responsibilities and duties as are required. Qualifications Who we are looking for: Degree or relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management. Minimum 5 years in large-sized manufacturing/warehouse and supply chain management. Reporting and Financial Management (P&L responsibility). Site performance and KPI management. Strong process and procedural focus. Works in an encouraging and solution-oriented way. High level customer service with compliance to SLA’s.
