THE WESTGOLD OFFER Full-time, 12-month fixed term contract with a base salary, STIP bonus and attractive benefits package 5/2 Perth based roster, Monday – Friday roster based at our state-of-the-art Training Facility at Maddington Hub — be home every night while making a big impact across our gold operations Great career development opportunity in a growing company — ideal for an experienced Underground Operator with a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment looking to step into a training-focused role, or a seasoned site-based Trainer seeking a Perth-based position THE ROLE Deliver and coordinate underground inductions and onboarding programs across departments Deliver engaging induction programs covering onboarding, company policies and procedures, safety training, and role-specific skills and knowledge Support new employees during their initial period by answering queries and guiding them to relevant resources Gather and act on feedback from participants and stakeholders to enhance the induction experience. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs including induction materials and training content to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment with company policies and values and make recommendations for improvement Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, evaluations, and employee progress Track and report on training data, highlighting trainee throughput and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory training requirements WHAT DO I NEED Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence (essential) Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) Experience in Underground Mining (preferred) or Gold Processing (desirable) Working at Heights Certification Qualifications in WHS or related discipline (desirable) Experience using INX systems (InTuition & InControl) Solid computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite Strong presentation and group facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences Experience with LMS, e-learning platforms, and training evaluation tools Adult Learning & Instructional Design Knowledge Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Skilled in developing engaging training materials and assessments Demonstrated experience in delivering training both face-to-face and virtually Familiarity with simulation-based training methods and the ability to deliver effective simulator training programs Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to lead change and adapt training to evolving standards and technologies Commitment to maintaining a proactive safe working environment The Westgold Offer: A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer A range of benefits including: Performance based bonus Group salary continuous insurance A health and wellness allowance Health insurance discount A range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoption.
