Position Title: Retail Manager – Full-Time Employer: Shoalwater Tavern Location: Shoalwater, Rockingham Area, Perth, WA Key Responsibilities Store Operations: Manage the daily running of the store to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations for both customers and staff. Stock & Products: Decide what products to sell, manage stock levels, and work with suppliers to keep the store well-stocked. Purchasing & Pricing: Create purchasing plans, buy products that meet customer demand, and set prices that balance competitiveness and profit. Marketing & Promotions: Plan and run promotions, advertising campaigns, and in-store displays to attract customers and increase sales. Customer Service: Lead the team in providing excellent customer service. Handle customer questions and complaints in a professional manner. Financial Management: Keep accurate records of sales, stock, and other activities. Prepare budgets, track financial performance, and use data to make business decisions. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage staff. Organise rosters, assign duties, and give feedback to keep the team motivated and productive. Compliance & Safety: Make sure all operations follow workplace health and safety rules, industry standards, and legal requirements. Carry out regular checks and safety training. Required Qualifications & Skills AQF Diploma (or higher) in Business Management, Retail Management, or a related field At least 1 year of relevant experience Strong leadership and team management skills Good knowledge of budgeting, stock control, and customer service Excellent organisational and communication skills Strong focus on compliance and workplace safety Salary Competitive salary range: AUD 70,000 – 80,000 per annum
