Your role at St John of God Health Care You will lead the capture of new Business and Commercial opportunities through a targeted and coordinated approach to engagement and negotiation with new referrers (e.g. large corporates, public sector) and untapped markets (e.g. self-funded) to deliver a pipeline of new business opportunities. The Position Lead the transition of the current self-funded program to a fully commercial department, with attached financial KPIs to facilitate a seamless experience for patients and doctors, enabling referral coordination and tracking, and growing activity and margin. Lead the process of exploring, identifying and developing opportunities for non-traditional referral growth and commercial partnerships to drive activity and margin Lead engagement with state governments on partnership optimisation and opportunities for increased public in private work Lead the growth of current state self-funded activity through proactive support for hospitals and VMOs Lead cross-functional teams to improve services Develop and implement commercial models to substantially increase self-funded volumes and margin Lead the exploration of a wide range of national and international relationships and markets to bring new profitable activity into SJG VMOs and hospitals. Develop flexible operating models to support this activity through negotiations and deep partnering with VMOs/ VMO groups Ensure all direct-to-consumer opportunities are fully explored Develop and sustain relationships with public sector partners in all catchments to maximise current opportunities and create new opportunities for increased volumes of profitable public in private work. You will have extensive experience and success in commercial partnership and opportunity development, with demonstrated leadership experience in a large organisation. Additionally, you will have financial management skills with proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills. To succeed you will possess a Tertiary level qualification in commerce/business or relevant discipline and/or high-level experience in a business or service development role in a large complex organisation.
