The Role As the first point of contact with prospective clients, our Sales Development Representative plays a vital role in shaping the growth journey of fashion and lifestyle brands. You’ll be instrumental in identifying opportunities where Thoughtful’s performance-driven, creative marketing solutions can help brands elevate their eCommerce revenue. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for; Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and translate them into high-potential sales opportunities. Reach out to prospective clients through personalised cold calls and emails. Uncover client needs—identifying whether they require strategic growth support, performance marketing, affiliate partnerships, or creative services. Schedule introductory and discovery meetings between prospects and our account or growth leadership teams. Stay informed about Thoughtful’s evolving service offerings, platform expertise (Meta, Google, affiliate networks, email/CRM, etc.), and case studies. Use systems and lead management tools to drive effective outreach cadences and track engagement metrics. Experience you’ll bring The ideal candidate is always positive and thoughtful, a straight shooter, and a team player. They’ll also have: Proven experience using a variety of sales techniques—including cold outreach—to open and nurture new conversations. History of meeting or exceeding lead qualification or outreach targets in a sales role. Comfortable with CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage pipelines and outreach workflows. Strong written and verbal communication—able to craft compelling dialogue with fashion and lifestyle brand stakeholders. Rapid learner with curiosity about digital marketing, eCommerce growth strategies, and emerging social/affiliate platforms. Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets). Keen understanding of KPIs such as engagement rates, lead-to-meeting conversion, and pipeline velocity. A proactive, collaborative attitude—aligned with Thoughtful’s positive and detail-oriented culture University degree (or equivalent); experience in sales, marketing, or eCommerce is a strong advantage.
