About the Role As a Solutions Engineer at Prometheus Group, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to both prospects and customers. Partnering closely with our sales team, you’ll play a key role in demonstrating solutions, managing technical evaluations, and ensuring our software aligns with customer needs. This is a customer-facing role where your technical knowledge, consultative skills, and ability to translate business processes into solutions will directly influence our growth and success. What You’ll Do Deliver engaging product demonstrations via online meetings, on-site visits, webinars, and industry events. Guide prospects through the technical capabilities of Prometheus solutions, mapping features to business outcomes. Provide expertise on business processes and workflows , showing how Prometheus can improve efficiency and safety. Manage the technical aspects of the sales process, including RFPs, RFIs, and scopes of work. Lead and support customer trials and proof of concepts , including consulting, configuration, and training. Conduct end-user training for customers and trial users. Create functional and technical documentation for new solutions before handoff to support teams. Collaborate with sales and internal teams as the voice of technical expertise during the sales cycle. Partner with customers to ensure solutions are implemented successfully and deliver measurable value. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer, Chemical, Mechanical, etc.) or a related field. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo, JD Edwards, or Oracle Primavera is highly desirable. Strong understanding of maintenance work, plant operations, and safety processes. Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Highly motivated to own the technical aspects of the sales process . Detail-oriented, organised, and driven in preparation and execution. Why Prometheus?
