The Company My client is a leading global engineering business that manufactures specialty composite products for clients all over the world. Due to a recent merger the company has doubled in size and moved into some new product areas. With a new business structure they are looking for an exceptional Quality Manager to join this high performing team. The Role Reporting to the Global Head of Quality, you will ensure the quality of products conform to established company, customer, and government industry regulatory standards. This will be achieved by implementing, overseeing, and maintaining quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures, and controls. Your key accountabilities include: Lead Quality Excellence and Assurance Continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) Drive Quality Culture strategy Support the communication of the Quality & Environmental Policy and QMS requirement Assist customer bids and contracts for Quality requirements Review and amend quality documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Initiate projects to reduce financial impact of quality underperformance Continuously evaluate the manufacturing control processes to ensure the product outcome conforms to the agreed customer requirements Manage the relationship with customers for all quality issues Lead a team of 4 staff Preferred Experience The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline You will have 2-3 years' experience in a similar role in Quality Management A background in manufacturing, engineering, defence, or aerospace ideal Demonstrated knowledge and application of the ISO standards A passion for continuous improvement, and mentoring/coaching If you are interested please apply today, or if you have any confidential questions please contact Stuart Alpen on stuart@engagetalent.com.au
