Senior Test Analyst / Business Professional Location: East Perth (on client site) Engagement: Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract with view to permanent About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to play a critical role in delivering high-quality software solutions for enterprise clients. You’ll go beyond test execution, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring testing activities are structured, documented, and communicated clearly. This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, as you will frequently liaise with senior non-technical stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to ensure alignment and successful delivery. Communication will be the key to success in this role. What You’ll Be Doing • Designing, maintaining, and executing test plans across web, integration, and legacy platforms • Coordinating user acceptance testing and supporting business stakeholders through test phases • Acting as the primary contact for testing matters, clearly documenting requirements, feedback, and outcomes • Creating frameworks and documentation to ensure testing processes are consistent and repeatable • Leading defect management, ensuring issues are logged, tracked, prioritised, and resolved • Mentoring junior testers and contributing to the evolution of testing strategies and frameworks Key Outcomes & Measures • Effective test planning and execution aligned with project requirements • Clear, consistent communication between business and technical teams • Comprehensive test documentation, traceability, and reporting • Successful coordination of UAT and smooth project delivery • Contribution to continuous improvement of testing methodologies About You You’re more than a tester, you’re a communicator and collaborator who thrives on bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery. With a high EQ, you can adapt your communication style to suit executives, engineers, and end-users alike. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable creating structure where it doesn’t yet exist.
