About the Role ACM is seeking a talented, creative, and committed individual to play a key role across the NSW Southern Inland and NSW Southern Highlands marketplace. As a Media Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving advertising revenue across a diverse portfolio of both digital and print products, representing strong and trusted print and digital mastheads in the community. This role is a 12-month Fixed Term position, with the possibility of extension. In this role, your key focus areas will be: Account Management & Growth: You'll build and nurture relationships with local businesses, providing tailored advertising solutions and exceptional service. You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and strategic pipeline management. Reporting & Strategy: You will prepare proposals and presentations aligned with customer objectives and market insights. You'll also provide regular sales and campaign reports, offering data-driven analysis and recommendations for improvement to both clients and management. Team & Community Collaboration: You will represent ACM professionally at industry and community events, building strong relationships with local businesses and community groups. You'll also actively contribute to the effectiveness of the local sales team, supporting co-workers and fostering a positive, performance-driven culture. While you'll sometimes work autonomously, you'll thrive as part of a high-performing local sales team committed to driving results. Ultimately, your purpose is to deliver value to your clients while growing ACM's market share and revenue, ensuring our media products remain trusted, relevant, and impactful in the region. Location This role will offer a flexible blend of working across the Southern Highlands. You'll find yourself either in the market with customers, working from home, or in our closest office, Goulburn or Illawarra. Predominantly in the market with your clients is where your greatest success lies and where you will confidently spend most of your time. What You'll Bring We are looking for someone who is passionate about media and committed to helping local businesses thrive. The ideal candidate will have: A proven track record in face-to-face sales, with at least two years of experience or transferable skills. Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently present data-driven recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication, including a high level of grammar. A highly organised, self-driven, and motivated approach to achieving targets. A current valid driver's license and access to a reliable, well-maintained vehicle.
