This is your chance to work in a team that values diversity and collaboration while expanding your skills and taking on new challenges. You’ll work hands-on with heavy diesel equipment, trucks, and engines, both in the workshop and on-site. Key Responsibilities Service and maintain heavy diesel equipment, trucks, and engines Diagnose faults and provide breakdown support Perform field service work and travel as needed Operate and maintain asphalt and earthmoving equipment (e.g., stabilisers, skid steers, loaders, pavers, spray trucks) Contribute to a safe, respectful, and high-performing team What You’ll Bring Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Current Forklift Licence (required) MR/HR Truck Licence (preferred) Experience with hydraulics and auto-electrical systems (advantageous) Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset Flexibility to work day and night shifts Commitment to safety and teamwork Apply Now Click Apply to submit your application or contact Kellie at kellie.lee@downer.co.nz for more information.
