We are currently seeking a Logistics Analytics & Reporting Specialist to join the onsite Mercedes-Benz Australia Global Customer Service and Parts (GCSP) Logistics Operations Division. The team collectively manages our impressive 28,000 square metre National Logistics Centre located in Laverton North, Melbourne where the role is based. Our ideal candidate will be ready to be immersed in the logistics and supply chain operations of a large iconic brand and moreover, excited to get hands on in a fast paced, multi-faceted operation. Given the enormity of the LC operation, the Steering Optimisation & Clearing (SOC) Logistics Analytics & Reporting Specialist is required to: · Play a pivotal role in optimising our logistics operations through effective data management and automation strategies. · Will be responsible for analysing logistics data, developing automation solutions, and ensuring seamless integration of these solutions into our existing systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in parts operation to achieve Operation Excellence. · Provide the necessary support to the Mercedes-Benz internal and external customer network, stakeholders and suppliers to ensure customer expectations and internal targets are met. · Ensure that Mercedes-Benz Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers are meeting their contractual requirements, key performance indicators and service levels. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data management and automation solutions into existing systems. Key duties & responsibilities Analytics & Report Development and Enhancement · Develop, automate, and enhance BI reports and dashboards for GCSP KPIs. · Develop analytical tools to assist with operational data analysis, that helps identify improvement areas and drive continuous improvement projects. · Manage the creation, maintenance, and improvement of regular operational reports. Logistics Systems and Master Data Key Point of Contact · Manage and update customer/vendor master data in the Logistics System. · Maintain parts indicators and other parts-related master data impacting logistics. · Administer transport management master data settings, including rates and routes. · Lead GCSP point of contact for Logistics Systems trouble shooting and resolution. · Lead GCSP point of contact for Logistics Systems development and enhancement. What you will need to be successful · Advanced knowledge of Power BI, RPA tools, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Python. · Advanced knowledge of warehousing and transportation operations. · Advanced knowledge of Mercedes-Benz SAP, ERP, WMS, and inventory systems. · You’ll be a team player, organized, friendly, have a relationship styled approach in dealing with suppliers and customers with a can-do attitude. · Be able to manage your own workload and able to multi-task · Strong Customer-first approach with strong decision-making skills. · Exceptional attention to detail and analytical mindset towards Logistics operations. · Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. · Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field is highly desirable.
