Our client is currently looking for an AI & Automation Specialist who can help drive a suite of new use cases designed to boost efficiency and productivity across a large, complex organisation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with a variety of stakeholders to design, build and roll out intelligent automation and machine learning solutions — all while uplifting digital capability across the business. Initial contract until December 2025 with possible extension Flexible work arrangements – WFH and Brisbane North or Sunshine Coast location Competitive market rates What you’ll bring to the role: Degree or postgraduate qualifications in computing, IT, or related fields. Certifications in AI or automation technologies are highly regarded. Experience designing and deploying intelligent automation and machine learning solutions. Familiarity with responsible AI practices and emerging AI technologies. Ability to research, assess, and implement AI strategies aligned with institutional goals. Proficiency in low-code platforms (e.g., Power Platform). Strong understanding of automation patterns and integration frameworks. Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining automation solutions for business and IT processes. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and Microsoft 365 tools. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, configuration management, and deployment pipelines. Ability to support citizen developers and promote digital capability uplift using Microsoft technologies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including training delivery and documentation. Experience in managing vendor relationships and contributing to sector-wide initiatives.
