About the role This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager/Senior Manager to join our highly skilled specialist tax division, working with multinational corporations and Australian subsidiaries of overseas companies, as well as Australian and Asia Pacific firms across many diverse sectors. Our team advises public, private and multinational companies to understand tax pressures and how best to deal with them. We help clients identify and manage tax risks, maximise opportunities and minimise tax exposure, take realistic tax positions and ensure compliance with all ATO requirements. Working closely with two of our long-standing Partners within the tax division, your primary focus will be advising and assisting a large client group and privately owned corporate group within financial services, funds management and property industries. Role focus Key contact for clients, developing strong relationships and helping them grow their business Manage a portfolio of multinational enterprises dealing with all compliance, planning and advisory matters Identify and develop existing and new business opportunities with clients Advise clients on complex tax matters, both domestic and international Provide technical tax advice to high net worth clients, including capital gains tax, restructures, Division 7A and trust losses Provide family advisory services including succession and estate planning Prepare tax provision calculations and tax returns Assist with ATO reviews, audits, disputes and programs Manage a team of junior staff and help them grow and develop their knowledge and career Promote the firm by writing articles, presentations and attending networking events Key Skills and Experience Minimum 4 years' experience in Taxation in a Chartered/CPA practice Qualified CA/CPA or completed Masters of Tax Technically proficient and up to date with developments in taxation law, systems, and processes Strong understanding of corporate and international tax Previous exposure and excellent working relationships with clients Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet taxation deadlines Excellent staff leadership skills Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal/communication skills Best Kept Secrets of SW Progressive firm, with excellent career opportunities Flexible working environment 2 additional AL days per year 18 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers and 3 weeks for non-primary Refer to client and refer a friend bonus scheme Employee Assistance Program and Wellness perks $1000 towards home office setup Social Club Tailored Learning and Development Program Paid Course/study leave 1 paid professional membership per year Weekly lunch provided Apply Create your own individual story and become a part of ours.
