About the Role
We're seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a 6-week new construction project at the Redland Bay Water Treatment Plant. This role offers long hours, penalty rates, and the chance to contribute to critical water infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install pumps, valves, and piping
- Fit motors and rotating machinery
- Assemble and align filtration systems
- Read and interpret drawings and P&IDs
- Assist with commissioning and testing activities
Qualifications/Experience Required
- Trade qualification - Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
- Confined Space ticket (mandatory)
- Working at Heights ticket (mandatory)
- Experience in water treatment or industrial construction preferred
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
