About the Role: You will help maintain classrooms, hallways, offices, student facilities, large student hall, toilets, and outdoor areas to the highest standard. Duties include general cleaning, waste disposal (including recycling), floor buffing/scrubbing (training provided), and reporting any damage or safety concerns. Deep cleaning known as Clean Week, is required during the first week of each school holiday period. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, stairwells, toilets, and external areas Empty bins and separate waste for recycling Operate cleaning equipment (e.g. buffing machines, blowers, vacuums) Report damage, vandalism, or maintenance needs Maintain safety and hygiene standards in line with Health, Safety & Welfare policies (including PPE use) What You'll Need Reliability, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team Cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. Training will be provided Hours & Conditions Permanent part-time and full-time roles available (nominate your preferred hours: 38, 30, or 15 hours per week) Split shifts during school term (with paid daily split shift allowance): AM shifts: 5:30 am-8:30 am or 9:30 am PM shifts: 2:00 pm, 2:30 pm or 3 pm-6:00 pm Clean Week shift are (straight shifts) during the first week of each term break, starting at 5:00 am Access to professional development and paid further learning opportunities for permanent employees How to Apply: A brief resume, including contact details for two referees (one must be your current or most recent supervisor) * A 1-page statement outlining how your skills and experience meet the role requirements Please ensure you read the attached Role Description before applying.
