The Role As an Executive Level 2 (EL2) in the National Intelligence Academy (NIA), no day will be the same. You will lead the strategic direction of the Training Team, driving innovation in curriculum design and delivery. The team has a range of functions, including curriculum and course design, training delivery, quality assurance, stakeholder outreach and engagement. You will be directly impacting the ability of the National Intelligence Community (NIC) to protect and advance Australia's interests. The key duties of the position include Our ideal candidate would have: Extensive experience in leading learning and development teams to achieve high quality outcomes, along with facilitation and training delivery experience. The ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to the development of learning content, improvements to course content, delivery methods, business systems and other processes. Excellent liaison skills, with the ability to work with, lead and positively influence colleagues and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse teams responsible for a range of long-term projects and daily deliverables. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desirable attributes: Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in education or learning and development roles. Security clearance of TSPA/TSPV. A deep understanding of the NIC and the strategic context that drives the NIA's mission to deliver core and common skills and enhance community and interoperability within the NIC.
