About the Company Our client is a proudly Australian-owned fabrication company specialising in large-scale textile and environmental products. Due to business growth, they are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Textile Fabricator to join their production team. About the Role This hands-on role involves the cutting, preparation, and assembly of silt curtains and related industrial textile products. Working with heavy-duty PVC, mesh, and reinforced fabrics, you'll help produce high-quality, durable products used across environmental and marine projects. Key Responsibilities Measure, mark, and cut PVC and industrial textiles to specifications Prepare materials including floats, ballast chains, connectors, and reinforcement strips Assemble curtain sections by attaching floats, chains, and hardware Join panels and reinforcement components to exact standards Inspect materials and finished products for quality and compliance Work safely with cutting tools, adhesives, and heavy materials What We Are Looking For Experience in industrial textile cutting, assembly, or fabrication (preferred but not essential - training provided) Competence with cutting tools, measuring equipment, and hand tools Ability to follow technical drawings, patterns, and work instructions Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Physically fit to handle large rolls of material, chains, and curtain sections Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling heavy components Benefits $40-$45 per hour (depending on experience) Secure, factory-based role (no travel required) Training provided for the right candidate Opportunities to develop skills in large-scale textile and environmental fabrication Supportive and collaborative workshop environment Apply Now If you meet the above requirements and are ready to join a great team culture, APPLY NOW or call our office on 02 7200 7209 for a job enquiry.
