The practice uses modern technology, advanced reporting systems, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient and compassionate patient service. The Vacancy Due to expansion, a (General, Imaging, or Electrophysiology) cardiologist vacancy has become available to join the team. There is currently a wait list of ~12 months , reflecting strong demand for much needed services — so you’ll be stepping into a busy practice with unsatisfied patient demand. Key Responsibilities Depending on your specialty (you may be generalist, or have a focus in imaging or electrophysiology), duties will include: Conducting outpatient and follow-up cardiology consultations Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests: ECG, echocardiography (including stress echo), Holter monitoring, ambulatory monitoring, etc. For Imaging specialists: advanced imaging (echo, CTCA, cardiac CT / MRI reporting if credentialed) For Electrophysiologists: assessment and management of arrhythmia, device implantation (pacemakers/defibrillators), ablations, device follow-ups Working closely with existing cardiac scientists, sonographers, and administrative support to optimise throughput, quality, and patient satisfaction Collaborating with referring GPs and other cardiac specialists, contributing to case management and clinical decision making Ensuring timely and accurate reports and follow-ups; participating in quality assurance, multidisciplinary meetings Support & Environment Established support infrastructure: dedicated admin team , cardiac scientist , cardiac sonographers Access to excellent technology and modern systems – imaging, reporting, CTCA, Clinically efficient facilities across multiple sites; strong patient flow and referral base Opportunity to focus on what matters clinically, rather than being weighed down by admin overload Compensation & Terms Service-level agreement with ~65% take-home of your clinical earnings Flexible work arrangements (number of sessions, mix of outpatient vs procedural) depending on your speciality and preference Opportunity to grow your private practice footprint quickly, given the existing backlog of demand Who We’re Looking For FRACP qualified (or equivalent) Cardiologists, or Fellows in training nearing completion who can claim or bill on Medicare Subspecialty training or interest preferred for Imaging or Electrophysiology but not essential if you are a strong general cardiologist willing to develop in those areas Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams High standard of clinical practice, with a focus on patient-centred care How to Apply To Apply If you are interested, please message me with your CV and a short summary of your interest / specialty focus.
