Description Downer’s Rail & Transit Systems is the leading rail business in Australia, with expertise in delivering whole-of-life asset management support to our customers. We’re proud to be delivering the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) , and we’re looking for the best people to help make it happen. QTMP involves the design, manufacture and maintenance of 65 new six-car passenger trains to support Cross River Rail and the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games. These trains will be built at a new, purpose-built facility in Torbanlea on the Fraser Coast. About the role The Associate Commercial Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of the Project by providing analysis and guidance to the Local Content Lead, and the Commercial Managers and Advisors, including by reviewing, updating and maintaining the financial and other numerical reporting and metrics required in the local content workstream. Key responsibilities Work with the Local Content Lead – QTMP and the commercial managers and advisors to report to the Client on the local content workstream on the Project, which may include: Tracking and forecasting Procurement and indirect supplier metrics Workforce employment and development metrics Milestone payments Tracking spend across the Project, including First Nations spend About You Demonstrated experience in a similar role Strong ability to use MS Office products (particularly Microsoft Excel). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
