This is a brand new role – you'll be the inaugural Business Development Manager for this initiative, building the business from the ground up while being supported by decades of industry expertise. The Opportunity We're looking for a Business Development Manager who knows the NSW construction landscape and has the relationships to open doors. You'll be introducing a new solution to builders who already know and respect the company name. What's Offered Base salary $100,000 - $150,000 based on experience Car allowance for client visits 3% uncapped commission structure Hybrid working arrangement with Sydney office base Opportunity to build something new with established company backing Direct impact on company growth and market expansion Your responsibilities: Use your existing network to connect with Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders Build market presence for the new offering Develop and manage a sales pipeline Work directly with executives, project teams, and consultants Drive new business growth with autonomy and accountability What We Need Essential: Strong network across NSW's Tier 2 and Tier 3 construction companies Proven experience in construction industry business development Track record of building relationships and closing high-value contracts Commercial awareness and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals Ideal background: 5 years in construction industry sales or business development Existing relationships with decision-makers at target builder segments History of meeting and exceeding sales targets Understanding of how builders operate and make purchasing decision
