This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer to work in an established construction company on Sydney's North Shore The company has a relaxed but hardworking ethos - they work hard but are able to enjoy themselves as a team and work collaboratively with other stakeholders both internally and externally They have onsite parking and a supportive and collaborative company culture This is a permanent full-time position so does require someone with Permanent Residency or Citizenship The Role: End-to-end management of Accounts Payable Setting up new suppliers Seeking invoice approvals Enter purchase orders into system Matching invoices to purchase orders Generating payment runs weekly and end of month Account and credit card reconciliation Processing end-to-end payroll, including all relevant payments and statutory obligations Maintaining employee records such as new hires, terminations, pay adjustments and leave Preparing payroll reconciliations, reports, and financial summaries to support management and compliance Responding to payroll enquiries and producing reports as needed Requirements: Demonstrated experience within an Accounts Payable position Experience within Accounts Payable within the Construction Industry Demonstrated experience with Payroll processing within the Construction Industry Working knowledge of large ERP systems specific to the Construction Industry and MS Excel High level of attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Benefits: Parking on site Permanent role Supportive working environment Excellent company culture Professional and educational development and support If you are looking for your next permanent opportunity within Payroll and Accounts Payable then please apply with your most up to date resume!
