About the Role This Structural Engineer role focuses on supporting the analysis, design, and delivery of high-rise residential and commercial projects. You will provide technical advice, prepare design documentation, specifications, and reports, and attend site inspections to resolve construction queries. Key Duties Undertake structural engineering analysis, assessment, and calculations for concept and detailed building designs Lead preparation of design drawings, sketches, technical specifications, and reports Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers Perform design checks of work by other engineers Resolve contractor and client queries during construction Inspect structural/facade works to ensure compliance with design documentation, specifications, and standards Develop systems and concepts for sustainable and efficient structural design About You Tertiary qualification (Bachelor's minimum) in Civil/Structural/Hydraulic Engineering 3-6 years' post-graduate structural design experience Knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements, with ability to coordinate with other engineering services Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and finite element tools (e.g., SAFE) Ability to draft and review drawings Professional membership of Engineers Australia, preferably CPEng (optional) Strong judgement and initiative in applying structural engineering design principles For more information or a confidential discussion, contact Adam Penny - 0488 723 936 Apply now by clicking the apply button below, or for a confidential discussion, reach out to Adam Penny via email at apenny@frontlineconstruction.com.au .
