We're looking for multiple engineers. About the Company: Our client is a niche engineering consultancy providing end-to-end grid connection solutions. They specialise in HV asset testing, commissioning, and project delivery for renewable energy projects, helping clients reduce grid connection complexities and risks. Role Overview: We are seeking Testing & Commissioning Engineers to work on greenfield and brownfield HV substations as well as utility-scale solar and renewable projects. The role reports to the Commissioning Manager and involves commissioning, GPS compliance, AEMO approvals, and collaboration with project development and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Perform commissioning and testing of HV substations and renewable assets Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and ITPs/ITRs Conduct energisation and advanced protection testing (line distance, transformer differential, CB management) Support SCADA, control system, and signal testing for substation and solar farm assets Collaborate with clients, TNSPs, AEMO, and internal teams Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Advanced Diploma in Power Systems Minimum 3 years experience on Australian projects with full working rights Experience in utility substations and/or solar farm testing and commissioning Strong understanding of power system fundamentals, protection, and control systems Knowledge of network connection rules, AEMO guidelines, and relevant testing authorities Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills Why Join: Work on exciting renewable and HV substation projects across Australia Join a supportive and experienced engineering team Competitive salary with professional development support Flexible work arrangements and Melbourne-based office How to Apply: Send your resume and cover letter to shantaroys@femedgesolutions.com or apply here.
