The Role We are seeking reliable Forklift Operators & Rovers to join a busy cotton ginning operation in Emerald. This seasonal role offers hands-on work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment where safety and efficiency come first. With opportunities to return each season, this is a great chance to build your experience in the cotton industry. Key Responsibilities As a Forklift Operator & Rover, you will play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly. Duties include: Safely operating forklifts to move and stack cotton modules Assisting with the operation and maintenance of cotton gin equipment Supporting production by carrying out general tasks across the site Adhering to strict workplace health and safety procedures Working collaboratively with team members to meet production targets Benefits $33.91 per hour plus penalty rates Approx. 1 to 3 months of seasonal work Approx. 40 hours per week , with potential for additional hours Ongoing seasonal opportunities with a respected employer Your Skills & Experience To succeed in this role, you'll bring: Current and valid Forklift Licence 2 or more seasons of experience as a machine operator in the cotton industry (or equivalent) OR experience as an assistant/trainee ginner with the ability to assist in equipment maintenance A strong focus on workplace safety and teamwork Willingness to adapt to varying tasks across the gin Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
