Client & You: Large Company employs 1000 people around the world. They are expanding their Production & Manufacturing department and are looking to hire an enthusiastic Production Planner (Production or Maintenance Planning experience) to support the division. Be a key member of the Production & Manufacturing team, providing technical scheduling and support with a focus on capacity planning, optimizing production workflow, and 5S initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: Planning & Scheduling – Organise production calendars, ensure timing aligns with sales forecasts and delivery targets (SAP / Dynamics 365). Daily Production Planning – Manage day-to-day production activity across departments to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives. Collaborate with sales, supply chain, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure seamless workflow. S&OP Support - ensuring production targets align with business demand. Inventory & Material Flow – Monitor and manage the supply of BOMs and parts to ensure availability when and where required. Cost Reduction Initiatives – Participate in developing and implementing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Capacity Studies & Reporting. Automation & Systems – Identify and implement process improvements via automation, reporting systems, and ERP optimisation. Other Duties – Perform additional tasks as required to support overall manufacturing goals.
