About the Role As the NUM of the Coronary Care Unit, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated cardiac nurses, ensuring the highest standard of patient-centred care is delivered. You will oversee daily operations, workforce planning, clinical overnagnce, and continuous quality improvement in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities Provide effective clinical and operational leadership to the CCU team Oversee the coordination and delivery of safe, evidence-based cardiac nursing care Drive staff development, mentoring, and performance management Foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership to optimise patient outcomes About You Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience, with recent experience in coronary or critical care nursing Proven leadership or management experience in an acute care setting Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Care or Critical care Why Hobart?
