Your key accountabilities The core capability requirements for this role are: - Supervise and coordinate the protocol functions associated with the Queensland Police Service Academy education and training programs.- Coordinate official functions, ceremonies, parades, official visits and activities in accordance with Queensland Police Service requirements.- Identify, investigate and research protocol issues and establish procedures to improve the related functions.- Establish and maintain effective and professional communications including building networks within the Queensland Police Service Academy programs, other Queensland Police Service establishment and external agencies.- Develop and train a network of Assistant Protocol Officers for the Queensland Police Service and to provide advice and support the police regions and commands as required.- Train and prepare police recruits in all aspects of drill for participation in induction parades. Role Requirements Mandatory - Possession of a current Queensland Drivers Licence. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
