We are on the hunt for a highly self-motivated and curious Quality Assurance Officer to join our Campbellfield team! You will coordinate day to day quality assurance and control processes, perform laboratory tests, compile and evaluate data and also aid in the development and maintenance of quality safety systems. A normal day in the role of the Quality Assurance Officer includes:Performing tests and making decisions for a wide range of manufactured final products to verify conformity to specificationsSetting up and operating laboratory equipment, instruments and recording all laboratory Quality Control testsInspecting and testing processed and/or packed products to ensure complianceAssisting in any planned production and development trialsCarrying out quality requirements on processed products in compliance with WQA/SQF/Coles/Aldi and HACCP standardsMonitoring the day-to-day hygiene and quality of the manufacturing plantCarrying out periodic internal audits of processes and systemsSelecting products for tests at specified stages in production processPerforming environmental sample analysis as per guidelinesMaintaining effective working relationships with warehousing, logistics, operators and plant management Sound like something that you would love to be a part of? To be in the running for this role, you should have:A tertiary qualification in Food Science/Technology or ScienceFood industry experienceDemonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment with good working knowledge in food safety and/or qualityThe ability to problem solve quality issues and provide suggestions for improvementsInitiative!
