As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced accounts professional to support our team with the financial management of the firm. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in working independently. About the role This is a part-time or contract position, requiring one day per week in our Sydney office. You will work closely with our principal lawyer and operations manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our accounts and financial processes. Your key responsibilities will include: General bookkeeping and accounts managementPayables Preparing and issuing monthly client billingProcessing payslips and managing staff salaries using XeroMaintaining accurate trust account records and reconciliationsOverseeing creditor and debtor managementAssisting with financial reporting and compliance requirementsSupporting the operations team with ad hoc finance-related tasks What we’re looking for We’re seeking someone with: Proven experience (law firm experience preferred) in accounts, bookkeeping, or financial administration (legal industry experience will be highly regarded but is not essential)Strong proficiency with Xero (including payroll)Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all financial processesStrong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlinesA proactive, reliable, and independent approach to work Why join Weinberger Lawyers?
