About Us ECOllaboration is an Australian for purpose environmental charity with various bush regeneration and weed control projects across southeast Queensland. About the role: We are looking for passionate team members to join both our North and South field crews. Our North crew is based in the Sunshine Coast and our South crew is based in the Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley & Ipswich regional areas. There are casual, part-time and full-time roles available. Renumeration will be in accordance with the Gardening & Landscaping Award rates including applicable allowances depending on experience. Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum of one year experience in an environmental or agricultural field-based role. Be physically fit, self-motivated and able to work in a team environment. Ability to work outside and in rough terrain. Ability to take direction and report on the delivery of tasks. A willingness to be a proactive and positive team member. Demonstrated ability in the correct use and maintenance of a variety of hand tools and field equipment. Practical knowledge of work health and safety policies and procedures, risk management practice and principles. Desirable Qualifications and Skills: Current Certificate I or III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management (equivalent certification will be considered). Sound knowledge & identification of weeds & weed control methods. Sound knowledge of planting methodology, and experience in planting. Licences & tickets: Chainsaw level 1 licence. Chainsaw level 2 licence (optional). Current ACDC licence. Construction White Card.
