The workshop is looking for Boiler Makers to Join the team, The positions will cover a diverse range of Boiler making tasks from Mobile equipment repairs to Fixed Plant Equipment Repairs in a workshop environment. Experienced Boiliermakers with 5 years plus experience are requested to apply. This is a residential role in Mount Isa, working a 48-hour week 4/3 or a 56- hour week 5/2 roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Structural steel FabricationStructural repairs on dump truck trays, buckets, and attachmentsCrack repairs, wear package fitting, and hard facingWelding and fabrication to AS/NZS 1554 standardsProcessing steel to precise measurements through workshop equipmentComplete all work to a high standard of accuracy and qualityMaintain accurate and detailed records of work completedCommunicate effectively with team members and managementEnsuring safe work behaviours for yourself and your fellow team members The successful applicants will have: Proven Skills in Ore Chute Fabrication and repairs, Bucket Rebuilds, Crack RepairsHigh level of attention to detailAbility to Perform welding and fabrication tasks on heavy mobile equipment, including but not limited to dozers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks.Must possess great time management skills, working independently and in a team.Must have a solid knowledge base around most facets of this field, cutting, gouging, folding, fabricating, Plate Rolling welding and quality control.Must have an Australian recognised trade qualification - Boilermaker (Fabrication)Ability to Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate welding procedures.Hold a current manual Australian driver’s licenseForklift ticket, basic rigger/doggers/HR ticket and gantry crane would be an advantage Applications Close: 8:00 am Wednesday 3rd September 2025
