You will plan and organise the restaurant operations and processes and lead the team in delivering the exceptional dining experience which we are known for to our guests, while meeting our business objectives. The working hours will be primarily across Monday to Saturday. The salary range is from $76,900 to $85,500 plus superannuation. Responsibilities: Selecting, training and supervising staff to ensure the highest level of service standards Identifying opportunities to increase service standards and areas for continuous Organising and executing functions and events in the restaurant and private dining room Following our OH&S procedures and policies ensuring our dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance Provide weekly rosters for staff in compliance with business objectives and targets Leading and supervising front-of-house staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management. Monitoring service delivery to ensure it aligns with the restaurant’s standards of excellence, and proactively responding to guest feedback. Collaborating with the Executive Chef to plan and update seasonal menus that reflect quality, authenticity, and business goals. Managing inventory, supplier relationships, and procurement of food, beverages, and other goods in line with quality and budget targets. Maintaining detailed records of sales, costs, stock levels, and financial transactions to support reporting and analysis. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining a clean, presentable, and functional dining environment at all times. Handling reservations, welcoming guests, and assisting in service during peak periods or special events. Planning and coordinating private functions, group bookings, and special dining experiences. Overseeing wine selection and beverage procurement in consultation with the sommelier and wine team. Supporting marketing and promotional initiatives to build brand presence and grow customer engagement. Warmly greeting guests upon arrival, managing reservations, and guiding guests to their tables. Presenting menus and beverage lists with confidence and clarity, and offering informed recommendations to enhance the dining experience, including wine pairings and specialty dishes. Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff. Serving food and beverages with precision and attention to timing, temperature, and presentation. Opening bottles, pouring wines and other beverages, and supporting the sommelier and cellar team as needed. Monitoring tables to ensure seamless service, including topping up beverages and clearing used items promptly. Resetting and arranging tables between services to meet presentation standards. Operating point-of-sale systems, processing transactions, and handling payments securely and efficiently. Required Skills or Experience: An appropriate qualification and at least 1-year years relevant experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high quality, hatted restaurant or equivalent environment with excellent food and wine knowledge. Alternatively, possess at least 3 years relevant experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high quality, hatted restaurant or equivalent environment with excellent food and wine knowledge. A background in restaurant operations and administrative duties such as rostering, stock takes and analysing performance results is essential A passion for hospitality Ability to work with budgets and labour cost management Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication and leadership skills Exceptional attention to detail, with a passion for delivering outstanding guest service. Excellent time management and organisational skills A proactive team player who can work well in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
