About The Role Reporting to the General Manager, we are seeking a suitably experienced Key Account Manager & Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The BDM will be responsible for driving growth and expanding market presence within the retail sectors (Pharmacy, Supermarket & Grocery) across Australia. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the retail industry, retail channels and distributors & wholesalers and strong relationship-building skills to engage with key stakeholders, clients, and partners. About You Market knowledge and understanding of the retail and pharmacy sectors.Management of the accounts post-acquisition.Develop and execute joint business plans with key customers, aligned with commercial strategy.Strong ability to negotiate listings, sales/promotional activities and sales targets.Understanding of retail growth, marketing and in-store activities.Strong commercial and analytical mindset: ability to analyse data, track performance vs targets and make data-driven recommendations.Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.Willingness to travel nationally as required. This Role Would Suit The Following Attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to build rapport.Exceptional attention to detail, highly organised, with time management skills, and the ability to multitask at times.Strong proficiency in computer literacy and the ability to work with CRMs. It will be advantageous if you have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy or a related field. The position will be located in the Macquarie Park office and will be offered as a full-time (38 hours per week) Monday to Friday role.
