ALG has a great opportunity for a Warehouse officer / Storeman to join a well-established organisation based in Sydney, Mascot Airport . The position will give the successful candidate valuable exposure to the aviation industry, as well as a wide range of future career prospects. This is a casual contract offering full-time hours with a Monday to Friday, day shift roster, allowing for a work-life balance. Responsibilities of the position are: Maintaining company premises and equipment Tool handling and management Inventory control Receiving and/or dispatch Manual handling (picking and packing) Performing cleaning duties to ensure safety and suitability for use Executing related task in airport ground operations and taking instructions from Aircraft maintenance engineers Desired Candidate Attributes: Previous Stores / Warehouse experience Basic computer skills Current forklift license (Advantageous but not necessary) Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and good communication skills Demonstrate full compliance will all work rules and regulation. Full working rights in Australia Willing to obtain ASIC (Airport identification that allows you to work inside the Airport) Willingness to comply with medical requirements, including drug/alcohol and physical tests.
