We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team in a full-time role. This is a hands-on position involving the servicing and repair of a wide range of heavy vehicles and equipment. Key Responsibilities Service and repair fleet vehicles, including Prime Movers, Side Lift, Rear Lift, and Hook Lift Trucks Maintain and repair plant equipment such as Loaders, Excavators, Material Handlers, HAAS Grinders, Hammel Shredders, Generators, and other site machinery Service small plant including petrol and diesel-powered pumps Perform hydraulic servicing and maintenance Maintain accurate service records and workshop inventory Order parts and manage stock levels Skills and Competencies Strong mechanical knowledge (heavy and light plant) Basic welding skills Familiarity with hydraulic systems Understanding of workshop safety practices Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently Current and valid WA HR Driver’s Licence (or equivalent) Qualifications and Licences Trade Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanics (or equivalent) Current and valid WA HR Driver’s Licence (or equivalent) National Police Clearance Desirable (not essential): Senior First Aid Certificate, Working at Heights certification, Dogging and Rigging tickets Experience Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing a variety of heavy vehicles and plant Experience with oxyacetylene cutting What We Offer Hours: Full Time – 38 hours/week Roster: Monday to Friday, Day shift (penalty rates apply), plus weekend work as rostered Variety of work across a wide range of machinery and equipment Supportive, safety-focused team environment To Apply: For more information or a confidential discussion, please contact Darren Browne at millsrecruitment.com.au or call 0478 644 .
