Reliability and consistency are essential in this position, with shifts scheduled during the day. About the role: To support the participants in home and out in the community. To know and understand the care and support of the participant To undertake the tasks detailed in the participants’ Care Plan using a person-centered approach and in the least intrusive way To assists in household duties such as cleaning, laundry, cooking. To provide personal care and support to participants with a wide range of needs, illnesses and disabilities To use manual handling equipment safely and correctly To take responsibility for the safe handling of property and equipment belonging to the participants To maintain good communication and develop effective working relationships with participants Job Details: Qualification Requirement: Cert 3 in Disability / Individual Support Minimum 1 year experience as Mental Health Support Worker Experience working with ABI is essential Medication management Skills : Communication, Proactive, Leadership Pay: Competitive rates based on SCHADS Expected Hours: Mid-week day shifts Minimum availability 4-5 shifts per week Required Licenses/Certifications: Full Driving Licence, Working with Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening, Police Check, First Aid and CPR Work Authorization: Australia (Required) What We Offer: Competitive Rates: Based on SCHADS ensuring fair compensation for your valuable contributions.
