Western Australia, Australia Job Family Group: Maintenance, Reliability and Turnarounds Worker Type: Regular Posting Start Date: September 9, 2025 Business unit: Integrated Gas Experience Level: Experienced Professionals Job Description: What’s the role The Fabric Maintenance Coordinator is accountable for leading the coordination and implementation of the integrated fabric maintenance work plans across the Prelude asset. The scope of the role extends to large paint works, integrity spot painting, passive fireproofing, Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) and wind wall / sheeting repairs and replacement, and associated access facilities. The role encompasses strategic planning, execution, technical governance, stakeholder management, fabric maintenance contractor oversight, performance monitoring, and leadership responsibilities; and perform the Shell contract holder role and duties for service contract covering the provision of Industrial decontamination and waste management services on the Prelude FLNG. What you’ll be doing Accountabilities: Strategic Leadership & Planning Lead the coordination and implementation of integrated Fabric Maintenance (FM) work plans across the Prelude asset. Develop FM plans across all planning windows (MT, ST, IS), integrating with Brownfield projects, and Turnarounds. Develop overall manpower resource demand plans to support integrated IAP delivery and histogram capacity loading. Support Engineering in the development of fabric maintenance strategies, prioritisation and grouping Develop execution strategies including scope grouping, production impact management, resource modelling, and contractor/vendor strategy. Support the development of the annual maintenance budget and drive cost management initiatives. Execution & Operational Delivery Accountable for end-to-end FM activities: planning, scheduling, execution, quality, and close-out. Drive delivery of work execution alongside Prelude Execution teams; communicate status to integrated planners and stakeholders. Develop fit-for-purpose execution work plans and readiness requirements (e.g., CoW, lifting plans, logistics, materials, testing, scaffolding). Monitor critical dates for key activity groups (SCE, FIM, MOC); raise deviation/deferral requests as needed. Identify and resolve blockers to planning, preparation, and execution; develop mitigation strategies to ensure delivery. Technical Governance & Quality Assurance Develop FM plans in SAP and manage the FM database/register. Review and approve scopes, work packs, and quality records. Assess and research new coating and access technologies. Select and specify coating systems; facilitate product approvals and manage deviations to technical requirements. Stakeholder & Contractor Management Indirectly manage FM contract staff. Liaise with Engineering on technical matters, including product approvals and deviations. Interface with cross-asset stakeholders to support FM execution. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement Report on fabric maintenance planning and execution status and monitor KPIs. Proactively identify improvement opportunities and enable a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct timely post-event lessons learned workshops to capture good practices and improvement areas. Contract Holder Providing the contractor with clear direction on Business Needs (scope & criteria) and establishing clear roles and responsibilities for key personnel. Responsible for the HSSE & SP Control Framework mandates relating to HSSE Risk and Worker Welfare (WW) Risks, Contract Mode. Managing the overall contract performance and supply chain risk management, including contract optimisation. What you bring Qualifications, skills and requirements Extensive oil and gas industry experience, including offshore fabric maintenance Multi trade experience in the application, supervision and inspection of: Coatings (including multi-layer systems, Chemco, Belzona, Hemple, Jotun, International, Humidur) Specialist insulation systems (including cold insulation, PFP, thermal, acoustic, dual layer, flexible aerogels), Sheet metal work Application of engineered wraps. NACE CIP L2 or equivalent qualification (Or previously recognized if expired) I-CORR Level 3 PFP Coating Inspector qualification STOP-AQ trained application/Supervisor Experience of leading teams to plan and execute activities in an offshore major hazard facility. Significant stakeholder and interface management in order to develop and deliver a highly loaded Fabric Maintenance plan. Sound understanding of SAP and Primavera P6 as used in planning, scheduling and execution of Maintenance activities. Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Power BI. Good understanding of with the SEAM Perform Maintenance Execution and other interfacing processes such as Control of Work, Safe Isolation, MOC, MAC etc. would be highly regarded. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a proven ability to effectively engage with a broad spectrum of people. Demonstrated core commitment to safety, with effective asset integrity and process safety management held as a core belief.
