About the Opportunity This isn't just a supporting role; it's a chance to build your expertise on major civil works, including road construction and rehabilitation. As a Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with the Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager, taking on core responsibilities from project planning and coordination to commercial management and stakeholder relations. This is a hands-on role that will see you involved in all aspects of project delivery, gaining invaluable experience with a supportive and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 5 years of experience in the civil infrastructure space and be willing to work across Adelaide metro and regional South Australia project areas. Key Responsibilities Support the Project Manager in all aspects of project delivery. Analyse project needs, goals, and objectives. Act as a key contact for all construction-based queries, advising subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare and submit technical RFI's. Assist with commercial processes, including tracking budgets, preparing delay notices, and submitting progress claims. Collaborate and manage relationships with all stakeholders. Skills & Experience To excel in this job, you'll be a proactive professional with a strong work ethic. Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering and/or Project Management. 3-5 years of proven experience on structural or infrastructure projects. Experience in contract administration and management. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude. Solid knowledge of the engineering industry and Australian Standards. Proficiency in project management software, ERP systems, and project management platforms.
