Your Team The Payroll Services team is part of the Group Finance team within the broader Finance and Fund Services (F&FS) division. The Manager, Payroll Services reports to the Senior Manager, Payroll Services and is accountable for the delivery of payroll related services for the CFS group and its employees. Your Responsibilities Joining us on a maximum term contract, you will work with a team of payroll experts that are involved in end-to-end payroll function. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the end-to-end payroll activities and ensuring payroll is compliant to relevant legislations. Liaising with employees and colleagues across People & Culture and Finance to address payroll enquiries and business requirements. Liaising with ATO and various state tax authorities regarding payroll and payroll tax related matters. Managing the day-to-day relationship with CFS’s external third party payroll processing provider to ensure they perform efficient and accurate payroll processing. Ensuring the team follows Standard Operating Procedures, and recommending and implementing payroll process controls and improvements where applicable. Supporting the Payroll Services team to close various risk matters and complete various projects. Your Capability and Experience Deep knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislations, preferably within the financial services industry. Comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems (ADP GV or SAP is essential) and working knowledge of cloud HR systems (Oracle HCM preferred). Previous experience working with an outsourced payroll processing provider. Meticulous attention to detail; able to work accurately and to tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Project delivery experience, implementing payroll system / process changes. Experience using data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel, SQL) to generate insights and dashboards. What to Expect At CFS, you'll be working among the very best in the wealth management industry.
